She tells style magazine Marie Claire, “I wouldn’t have, from a distance, said, ‘That’s a man who would be an amazing, dedicated father,’ or ‘That’s a man who truly loves helping people or whom I’d love to talk politics with.’ “He’s a lot more than people assume he is.”
Jolie credits her partner for helping her overcome periodical dark moments in her life - just by listening to her.
She adds, “I’ve had that problem in my life, where if I get emotional, I tend to just go (and) sit by myself. But he is a great listener, and he has given me wonderful advice.”
