Lindsay Lohan: ‘I Am Innocent’

Lindsay Lohan has spoken for the first time about her arrest for DUI, insisting she is innocent.
The 21-year-old was pulled over by police after she was reported for driving erratically through the streets of Santa Monica, California, in hot pursuit of a car being driven by the mother of an assistant, who quit on Monday.
She was arrested for drink driving and drug possession, but later released on $25,000 bail.
But the actress has protested her innocence, claiming the drugs did not belong to her.
In an email to Access Hollywood, Lohan writes, “I am innocent… did not do drugs they’re not mine. I was almost hit by my assistant Tarin’s mom. I appreciate everyone giving me my privacy.”
Police have confirmed the former assistant’s mother was the person who reported Lohan, calling authorities on her cellphone.
Lohan is due to appear at Beverly Hills court on August 24th - the same day she is expected to answer DUI charges from a separate incident in May.
It is believed Lohan is heading back to rehab just days after completing a lengthy stay at Promises in Malibu, California.

After more than six weeks in rehab, Lindsay Lohan has completed her stint at Promises, PEOPLE has learned exclusively.
Lohan’s rep, Leslie Sloane, gave PEOPLE this exclusive statement: “On Friday, July 13, 2007, Lindsay Lohan successfully completed her 45 days of residential and extended care treatment at Promises. She has transitioned to an intensive outpatient program, which includes attendance at daily AA meetings, outpatient therapy and daily testing. On her own, she has also made the decision in support of her sobriety to wear an alcohol monitoring bracelet. In part she is wearing the bracelet so there are no questions about her sobriety if she chooses to go dancing or dining in a place where alcohol is served.”
Says Sloane of her client, “She’s doing great. Lindsay is working hard on her sobriety and we are all supporting her.”
The actress (who quietly turned 21 on July 2) had a chance to show off the bracelet – which she wears on her ankle – on Saturday night at Pure Nightclub in Las Vegas, where she sipped an energy drink and hung out with about ten friends. Says a clubgoer: “A lot of the attention was placed on Lindsay and she was smiling – really enjoying the evening.”

Lindsay Lohan’s rep tells Usmagazine.com that the actress has canceled her 21st birthday party, originally scheduled to go down at PURE nightclub in Las Vegas on July 2.
“Lindsay will not be having the birthday party at PURE and is focusing on her recovery 100 percent,” says Lohan’s rep.
A spokesperson for PURE nightclub released the following statement: “We support Lindsay and wish her the best as she is taking care of personal matters at this time. Due to the unique circumstances, as of this afternoon Lindsay’s birthday party at PURE Nightclub has been canceled. We think the world of her and look forward to working with her in the future.”

The Brit tabloid News of the World has published several shocking photographs of Lindsay Lohan, seemingly intoxicated and holding a knife to Vanessa Minnillo’s throat. They were taken four months ago, shortly after Lindsay completed her first stint in rehab. News of the World says:
Taken just weeks before she was admitted to rehab for the second time, the drugs-crazed 20-year-old wild child is captured holding a knife to a friend’s throat at a party. The pal is also pictured sliding another blade down the Mean Girls star’s breast as Lindsay slips her own knife into her mouth in a chilling game. A source told us: “These photos are very worrying. Lindsay is so out of control. She should not be left within a million miles of a knife. The states Lindsay gets herself into she is lucky to be alive.”

Calum Best Caught Having Sex With Strippers
Lindsay Lohan’s on-off boyfriend Calum Best has had a cocaine-fuelled threesome with two prostitutes.
Calum, whose sometime lover Lindsay checked into rehab for the second time on Monday (28.05.07), has been filmed snorting cocaine and indulging in a variety of sex acts with the hookers.
After being confronted with the footage, the model told Britain’s The Sun newspaper: “I’ve been stupid. I regret all of it. Whether it’s drink, drugs or women, there comes a time when you think, ‘I shouldn’t be doing that.’
“I am a young man and I like to indulge, but look where it has got me - I feel ashamed.”
The shocking video - which shows Calum preparing lines of cocaine before sharing them with the two prostitutes - was allegedly filmed after he returned from a romantic get-away with Lindsay in the Bahamas earlier this month.

Lindsay Lohan got completely wasted after just admitting she needs to return to rehab. It was only Saturday that Lindsay crashed her car into a tree from being high on cocaine, and she already got trashed again the next day.
According to In Touch, Lindsay is to check into Malibu’s Promises center, where Britney Spears was recently treated.
A source said, “She realizes it’s the right thing to do. She is going willingly.”
Why is she even allowed to be out partying? She’s a danger to society. I know being caught with a tiny amount of coke is a felony and will get you tossed in the slammer. I’m sure she had quite a bit in her car.
